Lenses

• We offer an aspheric lens design for higher powered glasses prescriptions which allows us to create lenses which will be thinner than you’ve ever experienced. They also help to reduce peripheral distortion in the lenses which allows you to see more clearly through those high prescriptions than you ever have before. And, when combined with an aspheric design, high index lenses produce lenses which are even thinner and lighter. 

• Multifocal Lenses correct for near and distance vision (bifocal) or near, middle and distance vision (trifocal). A better option is almost always a Progressive Addition Lens which corrects for near, middle and distance vision without the lines of bifocal and trifocal  lenses

Transitions Tints

• Transitions ® Lenses that are clear indoors but darken automatically when you go outdoors. Transitions 6 Photochormatic and Transitions XTRActive tint are the newest generations of  Transitions tints. Transitions 6 clears completely indoors and gets slightly less dark outdoors than XTRActive.  XTRActive gets darker out doors and darker in the car behind the windshield which makes it perfect for those who drive a lot or those who want a little more protection outdoors.  They both get darker outside, lighter inside and change faster than previous generations of Transitiions. 
   

• Trivex Lenses are our first choice for children because of their impact resistance and lightweight as well as for adults because of their lack of distortion.  As you can see, the Trivex lens on the left is also almost completely free of distortion unlike the polycarbonate lens on the right.

• Polarized Lenses that reduce glare and provide protection from harmful UV rays.

Frames

We stock a variety of frame styles for men, women, teens and children. They are available in a number of styles from fashion-forward designer frames to more traditional styles. Materials include strong and lightweight plastic and metal alloys such as titanium.

Contact Lenses

Advances in contact lens design and materials have made them a clear, comfortable option for many people requiring vision correction. Our office has extensive training and experience in fitting most popular styles of contact lenses, including:

• Rigid, gas permeable lenses.
   
• Soft lenses - Disposables (daily, 2-week, 1 month, quarterly), daily wear lenses and extended wear lenses.
   
• Toric lenses (for astigmatism)

Sunglasses

Sunglasses aren’t just about style – they’re essential in protecting your eyes from harmful UV rays. And sunglasses aren’t just for adults. Studies have shown that 85% of the UV damage done to a person’s eyes occurs before they are 18 years old. We can make prescription lenses for just about any sunglass frame.

Sports/Protective Eyewear

Our office can prescribe specialized eyewear to protect your eyes at work or at play. We are one of the few sources in Tucson for the popular Wiley X sunglasses used by SWAT and Military Special Forces.  Specialty frames and prescription or non-prescription lenses are available for:

• Sports including basketball, baseball/softball, soccer, football, racquet sports and hockey 
• Work 
• Swimming 
• Skiing
• Motorcycling, Bicycling, ATV's
